As our blue skies and glorious flower displays already seem to be turning down for the start of a premature autumn, the Designers Guild’s latest A/W collection gives us hopes of a beautiful spring ahead…
The Caprifoglio fabric and wallpaper collections are a breath of fresh air. Designers Guild have beautifully captured the romantic frescos, flowers and blue skies that we’ll be dreaming of over the next few chilly months. Walls of distressed damask in contemporary colours and subtle frescos perfectly complement an array of florals. Hand-painted flowers have been digitally printed on luxurious fabrics (velvets, linens and cottons) to capture every minute detail of the painter’s brushwork, either layered or spaced, but always breathtakingly elegant.
Pattern books available to view in store now. Please do pop into the showroom to give me an excuse to go through them – I just can’t get enough of these fabrics at the moment!
Autumn 2014 sees the launch of yet another amazing collection of fabrics and wallpapers from Designers Guild. Bold colour and design, amazing textures and amazing use of digital print technology. This amazing diffused floral digitally printed design – printed onto a jacquard woven velvet with silver metallic accents – a work of art in itself cries out to be used for upholstery on either an occasional chair or dare to build a bedroom scheme round an upholstered bedhead in Mattiazo Damson woven velvet. Team this with blinds or curtains in 100% pure silk stripes – Gavanti Fuchsia & Junani Fuchsia. Pattern books available to view in store now.
